The City of Minnetrista received bids and awarded the construction contract for the project to Northwest Asphalt, Inc. of Shakopee, Minnesota on May 6th, 2019. Construction is tentatively expected to begin the week of June 24th. The Contractor is not planning any work for the week of July 4th, and will continue the week after, weather permitting. Work will include preparing the sites for construction by installing erosion control best management practices (BMPs) such as sediment control logs and catch basin inlet protection. Survey crews will also begin placing survey stakes. Storm sewer utility work on Ox Yoke Circle and D’Chene Circle may also start the week of June 24th.
Construction scope varies depending on the street that your property is adjacent to. Streets that are proposed for pavement mill and overlay include Burl Oaks Ct, Burl Oaks Dr, Pheasant Crossing, Hunters Ct, and Glacier Ct. Streets that are proposed to be reclaimed include D’Chene Ln, D’Chene Cir, and Ox Yoke Cir. A segment of the approach to County Road 26 on Ingerson Rd is proposed to be paved with bituminous pavement.
