This project was originally proposed along Painter Rd, Painters Creek Drive, and Painters Circle, however, the pavement cores that were taken in March showed that the existing pavement condition and thickness is not sufficient to perform a mill and overlay. The project is now proposed along Sunnybrook Lane and Sunnybrook Drive. It is proposed that the top layer of pavement be milled off and then replaced with a new layer of asphalt pavement. This work a typical maintenance effort as part of the life cycle of a street and will help extend its useful life. Residents should expect the work to proceed relatively quickly. The streets will remain open to residents during milling and paving, however, please be observant of construction vehicles and personnel. Below is the anticipated project schedule:
Project Update August 2, 2022:
The contractor is scheduled to pave the new asphalt on Sunnybrook Drive and Sunnybrook Lane on Thursday, August 4th. In order to assist with the paving operation, please have all vehicles off of the street starting tomorrow night and through the end of the day Thursday. Please also have your irrigation systems turned off Wednesday night and through the end of the day on Thursday, as the runoff from the lawns ends up on the street and will impact paving. Paving should be complete by the end of the day on Thursday. Thank you for your cooperation and patience as this project nears completion. If you have any questions, please reach out to Matt Havlik (612-246-9347) or Adam Gadbois (612-214-2081).
