2024 Elections

The City will hold elections in 2024 as follows:

  • Presidential Nomination Primary on March 5, 2024
  • Primary Election on August 13, 2024
  • General Election on November 5, 2024

City Offices on the 2024 General Election ballot will include mayor and two city council seats. 

The City Clerk's office is busy preparing for the 2024 elections and will continue to provide timely updates as we receive them in our office.

Election Judges serve our community in the polling places on election day. The City of Minnetrista needs people for this exciting and vital work. The 2024 Election Judges will make $12-$13 per hour.

Qualified individuals interested in being a Minnetrista election judge can submit the election judge application to the City Clerk. Required paid training is provided for the Primary and General elections. Various dates and times are provided.

Election Judge Scheduling 

Full-day (6 a.m. to approximately 9 p.m. or when the count is complete) or half-time shifts are available (6 a.m. to 2 p.m.; 2 p.m. to approximately 9 p.m. or when the count is complete). Election Judge assignments are made by the Elections Department.
