Public Safety & Emergency Management

The Minnetrista Public Safety Department proudly serves the cities of Minnetrista and St. Bonifacius. The Public Safety Department consists of a Director of Public Safety, Lieutenant, two Sergeants, eleven Police Officers, two Community Service Officers, and two Administrative Assistants. The Minnetrista Public Safety Department is committed to protecting life and property, providing professional police service and strengthening partnerships. 

MPSD serves over 30 square miles and is greatly supported by our elected officials and community of over 11,000 residents. In addition to our Patrol Officers, we also have Officers on special assignments such as; SWAT Team, Drug Task Force, Investigations, School Resource Officer, Defensive Tactics Instructor, Field Training Officer, and Firearms Instructor.

The St. Bonifacius and Mound Fire Departments are contracted to provide services for our area.
