The Hennepin County Regional Railroad Authority is planning to begin culvert repair, culvert lining, and other associated work along the Lake Minnetonka and Dakota regional trails. Temporary closures are expected.
They anticipate this work to take place October 30- November 3. Weather may impact the exact date of completion. Since these trails are used by people on their commutes, we want to share this information with you now so you can plan ahead and be aware of crews on site. They will be working at various locations, but only one project at a time. Signage with suggested detour routes will be posted at each affected trail segment. Temporary closures will be lifted upon the completion of work at each site.
There will be a two week pre-warning starting October 13 with site specific signage, followed by closures the week of October 30. See additional information on Hennepin County's website.
