David Abel was appointed the Community Development Director at the City of Minnetrista in August 2014. Previous to his role, he worked as the City Planner from 2008-2012 and Senior Planner from 2012-2014. Prior to his career with the City of Minnetrista, Abel worked as an intern or the City of Minnetonka from 2005-2006 and for the City of Little Falls in 2005. Abel has a Bachelor Degree in Community Development from St. Cloud State University and an Associates Degree in Management and Sales from St. Cloud Technical College. Abel and his family currently reside in Eden Prairie.
